Good Christian Values

Vote against the American Talaban and God will damn you to hell. Honest. Rev. Pat Roberts tells us so:
"I'd like to say to the good citizens of Dover: if there is a disaster in your area, don't turn to God, you just rejected Him from your city," Robertson said on his daily television show broadcast from Virginia, "The 700 Club."

"And don't wonder why He hasn't helped you when problems begin, if they begin. I'm not saying they will, but if they do, just remember, you just voted God out of your city. And if that's the case, don't ask for His help because he might not be there," he said.

How dare you heathens vote out all of your school board members who wanted to change their science curriculum over to "Intellegent Design" instead of that wacky theory of Evolution. Godless heathens! Expect an eathquate any moment now that will swallow all those who voted against God and cast them into the pits of firey damnation!

I wonder what Jesus would do about this? Would he damn people to hell for a vote they cast? Last I checked, voting against divisive schoolboard members who pitted their religious based theory that even the Pope disagreed with against accepted mainstream science curriculum was not a mortal sin, and God was no longer a God of vengence, but of love and forgiveness.

But what would I know. Roberts is the man of God.
